I've now read Jonas Bonnier's novel Helikopterrånet, based on the event. Really nice score and beautiful photography! All in all a well made documentary! Will I watch it again? No. Both are really good, and I especially liked "Sista rånet", which could easily become a good heist movie.) Sadly none of the involved criminals are interviewed. (Side note: I've later on read his two documentary books, "Sista rånet" and "Svenska rån", the first giving out all details regarding planning and execution of a cash transport heist taking place in Finland, and the latter interviewing robbers and law enforcement about the waves of different heists in Sweden during 1990's up until this helicopter heist in 2009. Best of all, a guy previously convicted of burglary (but not this one), Anders Adali, is interviewed. It features interviews with victims and other people involved in the investigation. This is a three hour documentary mini-series about the robbery. The burglars landed a helicopter on the rooftop, broke in using explosives, and got away safe and sound with a large sum in cash. One of the most spectacular heists of all time, according to Time Magazine, was the robbery of a cash depot in southern Stockholm, Sweden, 2009. ![]()
